On the occasion, Haridwar’s Chief Development Officer, Prateek Jain, provided information on various activities being undertaken for women empowerment and expressed gratitude for the cooperation being received from Patanjali.

Highlighting the digitization of activities being carried out by Patanjali, he mentioned the collaboration with NRLM to digitize the work of women self-help groups through the LokOS App.

Expressing gratitude for the special support provided by Patanjali University, Pradeep Kumar Pandey, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of USRLM, briefed about the ongoing activities and achievements under USRLM and thanked Acharya Balkrishna for his cooperation.

It is worth noting that the LokOS App has been developed to facilitate digitization from end to end within the entire self help groups (SHG) network of the country.

It has been designed for both web and mobile platforms, each with its own user profile and features. The web application provides services at various levels of authorization by their bookkeepers (SHG/VO/CLF).

On the other hand, the mobile application is designed to record data efficiently on ground-level transactions and activities such as meetings and registration of SHG members within a short period of time.

The app enables SHG information management to be brought into the digital platform, including savings, loans, and repayments. The primary objective of the app is to enhance transparency along with digitization.
