On the occasion of India’s 75th Republic Day, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev, the President of Patanjali Yogpeeth, and Acharya Balkrishna, the Chancellor of Patanjali University and others hoisted the flag at Patanjali Yogpeeth-2 premises and extended best wishes to the people of the country.

On the occasion, Ramdev stated that in the past 75 years, much has been achieved, but there is still much to accomplish in the future.

He emphasized that while political freedom was gained almost 77 years ago, there is a need for economic freedom, educational freedom, medical freedom, intellectual and cultural freedom, along with self-reliance, to move forward.

Ramdev called for rejecting foreign education systems, foreign medical practices, and foreign economies.

He stressed the necessity of promoting indigenous education, healthcare, and economy to build a self-reliant nation, urging all Indians to stand together for this cause.

He highlighted the importance of the path of yoga and duty and mentioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of developing India by 2047 and emphasized that with unity and commitment, this dream can be realized by 2037.

Addressing the issue of Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Ramdev suggested the issue must be resolved amicably through mutual agreement rather than fighting a legal battle in courts.

He proposed handing over such places, including Kashi and Mathura, where temples were demolished to build mosques, back to the Hindu community, fostering religious tolerance, goodwill, and love.

On the Uniform Civil Code, he stated that the abrogation of Article 370 and the construction of the Ram Mandir were unprecedented, and the implementation of a Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand would set a new precedent for unity in the country.

Acharya Balkrishna added that the dreams envisioned by the heroes, martyrs, and freedom fighters are now becoming a reality in the country.

He urged everyone to live with pride, glory, dignity, and dedication to the development, prosperity, and devotion to the country.

He emphasized the need to move forward united, transcending various temptations or distractions, for nation-building and the glory of Mother Bharati.

The program featured cultural presentations by students of Patanjali Gurukulam, Acharyakulam, and Patanjali University showcasing patriotic and cultural performances. The event concluded with salutations to the national flag by NCC cadets and paramilitary security personnel.
