The film is doing exceptionally well despite the ongoing competition from Pad Man and with the film entering the fourth week, it’ll be interesting to see the collections of the film.

Padmaavat is not only having a dream run at the box office in India but it is also destroying records at box office across the globe, especially in North America, Australia and Singapore.

With that being said, if Padmaavat crosses the Rs 275-crore mark it is quite safe to say that the makers can expect the film to gross Rs 300 crore mark, which will be a mammoth success after all the film has been through a hard fought controversial battle.

Padmaavat narrates the story of Rani Padmavati (Deepika) and her husband Rawal Ratan Singh (Shahid), and the Muslim Sultan Alauddin Khilji (Ranveer), who wanted to conquer the Rajput kingdom and capture their queen.

Padmaavat was released worldwide on January 25 in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D.
