Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, unveiled a statue of Bharat Ratna Dr. B R Ambedkar at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office complex in Hamirpur on Monday.

While presiding over a high-level meeting here on Friday to review the progress of the establishment of Bulk Drug Park in the Haroli assembly segment of Una district, Sukhu directed to expedite the tender process.
“Three orphaned girls from Shishu Sudhar Grih have been admitted to Convent Tara Hall School in Shimla, with transport facilities to be provided shortly,” said Chief Minister Sukhu.
He emphasized the importance of timely completion of the Mukhya Mantri Adarsh Gram Sukhashrya Parisar at Luthan in Kangra district and Sundernagar in Mandi district.
