Water for every house in two years: Delhi CM Kejriwal

Hailing the achievements of his government on Sunday after an inauguration ceremony, Delhi Chief Minister who is also chairman of Delhi Jal Board, Arvind Kejriwal, tweeted “319 colonies got water with pipelines under @AamAadmiParty Govt in 3yrs. For next two years,our aim is to provide water to every single house across the capital: @ArvindKejriwal”.

Kejriwal inaugurated works for rehabilitation of sewer lines in Krishna Nagar, Lakshmi Nagar, Patparganj and Vishwas Nagar. Once completed, they are expected to benefit 22.5 lakh people.

Speaking on the occasion, Kejriwal said, “There should be no politics over works being carried out for public welfare like ~ water, health, roads, sewage and schools. Those who play politics over such issues are traitors and anti-nationals. Political parties who play politics over such issues will face wrath of the people of Delhi.”

“If you have to do politics enter the hearts of the people of Delhi. Politics is not done by stopping welfare projects. Delhi government is working honestly and tirelessly for the people of Delhi and that’s why the people love the government and the work done in the last three years,” he claimed.

The above-mentioned work is likely to be completed within two years. The total cost incurred in the project is approximately 129.78 crore.
