Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leader, appeared in front of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for the fourth time in connection with the National Herald case on Monday.

A three-member ED team will interrogate him, and he will be granted a lunch break.

The ED was supposed to examine Rahul Gandhi on Friday, but he wrote to request a postponement, citing his mother Sonia Gandhi’s illness.

The ED had agreed to his request and had scheduled his interrogation on Monday.

Last week, Rahul Gandhi was interrogated for roughly 30 hours over three days.

Gandhi was reportedly questioned about a few transactions made by Kolkata-based Dotex Merchandise Pvt Ltd.

Sonia Gandhi, who is presently admitted to the hospital for Covid related health issues, has also been summoned on June 23 in the same case.
