Man killed for objecting to eve-teasing

 A man working with a private airlines was stabbed to death when he objected to a molestation attempt by two men near his house in Palam area of south-west Delhi late last night.
 According to police, Manoj Kumar Sharma worked as a technician with Indigo airlines. He stayed with his family at Sadh Nagar in Palam Colony. He was working at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. His body bore multiple stab injuries.
 Police said that the incident came to light at around 10 p m, when Manoj was returning home in his bike. He was stabbed by some unidentified persons in lane number 41.
 According to eyewitnesses, some men were teasing a girl. When Manoj interfered, one of them whipped out a knife and stabbed him. Hearing the commotion, several persons rushed to his rescue and found him lying in a pool of blood.
 He was rushed to the nearby Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) hospital where he was declared brought dead. A case of murder against some unknown persons has been registered with the Palam police station.
 Manoj is survived by his 72-year-old father, Hazarilal Sharma, wife and an 11-year-old son.
