A fire broke out in the Times of India building in central Delhi’s ITO area on Wednesday afternoon.

Hundreds of employees and others present in the building evacuated the premises by the time fire officials reached. No casualty was reported.

The incident took place around 2.15 PM, following which five fire tenders were rushed to the spot, a senior fire official said, adding that the fire broke out in a room on the rear side of the building.

"The dousing operation is underway," he added.
