The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members of Parliament from Delhi on Tuesday demanded the resignation of the Arvind Kejriwal government, alleging that in the last 10 months the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) administration failed to keep even a single promise that it had made in the run-up to the Assembly elections early this year.

The BJP leaders also said that the AAP government is indulging in “vendetta politics”.

“Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal just wants to be in the news by making wild allegations and blaming others. In the last 10 months we saw massive misuse of public funds in Delhi. Crores of rupees were spent on advertisements. Moreover, there were the onion and transport scams,” Union minister Harsh Vardhan said.

“The Delhi government is making statements against the Union government and the AAP leaders are not sparing anyone, be it the prime minister or the Union home minister. AAP leaders blame everyone. We want the Kejriwal government to resign,” he added.

“The AAP government is obstructing every work and project. After forming the government they did exactly the opposite of what they said before the Assembly election,” he said.

“The Central ministries always allowed space to the Delhi government. But the AAP government is busy breaking the law and levelling charges against us," Vardhan said.

“I wrote more than 20 letters to Chief Minister Kejriwal, but he did not reply to a single one,” BJP MP Parvesh Verma alleged. “He is the worst chief minister that Delhi ever got,” Verma said.
