It was a clear Monday morning here, marked with shallow fog and the minimum temperature was recorded at 14.1 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season’s average.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky will remain clear throughout the day and there are no chances of rain as there is no cloud formation.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 30.7 degrees Celsius.
At 8.30 am, the humidity was 63 per cent and rainfall nil.
Though the increase in wind speed has led to dispersal of prominent pollutants — PM 2.5 and PM 10 — from the air to a significant extent, the Air Quality Index (AQI) was still in ‘Very Poor’ category on Monday.
The AQI for most of the places in Delhi ranged between 320-442.
