DMRC: Train services on Yellow Line regulated owing to signaling issue

According to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), the services have been delayed between Kashmere Gate and Central Secretariat.
On Saturday, Delhi Metro informed that train services between Qutab Minar and Sultanpur stations will not be available on Sunday morning for one hour due to maintenance work.
This high-speed free wi-fi service will prove to be a boon to students travelling to and from the North Delhi Campus of Delhi University.
The Yellow Line connects Samaypur Badli in Delhi with Huda City Centre in Gurgaon.
The delay lasted for about 30 minutes, after which the DMRC announced that normal services have resumed.
The glitch was detected in the signals at the Huda City Centre metro station around 9.45 a.m. The engineers of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) fixed the problem in 45 minutes, an official said.
The incident, which delayed the services on the busy corridor for some time, took place at Adarsh Nagar metro station in the morning, according to a senior DMRC official.
Repair work has been carried out between Qutub Minar and Chhattarpur Metro stations and technicians and officials are working on location to rectify the issue at the earliest, informed DMRC.
