In a major breakthrough, the Crime Branch unit of the Delhi Police arrested a fugitive gangster, Manjeet Dalal, from the Singhu Border area in connection with several cases, including firing on the police, extortion, attempted murder, and robbery, authorities said on Sunday.
"Me and my husband Pawan Saroha have been arrested by the Delhi Police," Phogat said in a tweet.
At the Singhu border, Delhi Police has increased the security forces, and each person and every vehicle is being checked thoroughly.
The SIT has been constituted under the Chairmanship of ADGP-cum-Director, Bureau of Investigation Punjab Varinder Kumar. Deputy Inspector General, Ferozepur Range, Inderbir Singh and SSP Tarn Taran Harvinder Singh Virk are its members.
