Despite multiple complaints, there has been no substantial improvement, leading to heightened risks for commuters. Authorities remain unresponsive, with no visible efforts to address the long-standing road issues. Locals claim that even though incidents involving reckless truck drivers are not uncommon in the region, law enforcement has failed to take adequate measures to ensure road safety.
All four, including the deceased, worked as domestic help. They met with the accident while on their way to work.
The UP minister is now undergoing treatment at the trauma centre in a Mirzapur hospital, according to reports. A video of the incident has also surfaced in which Ashish Patel is seen injured.
The eight people who lose their lives in the accident, included a bride, woman and children, reported ARY News.
A case has been registered in this regard and further investigation to find out the cause behind the accident are on.
They were all taken from the accident scene to the Udhampur district hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
