Addressing cadets at the ongoing Republic Day Camp, the Air Chief shared deeply personal moments from his own life, from struggling to secure school admissions as a child to missing his first promotion board while in service, before eventually rising to lead one of the strongest air forces in the world.
Stepping into the Air House, the official residence of the Chief of the Indian Air Force, the cadets experienced a moment that many will carry for a lifetime as they were warmly hosted at an ‘At Home’ by Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh and his wife, Sarita Singh.
He emphasized that India can achieve this goal only by fully embracing the five pledges.
She appreciated Bharat Scouts and Guides for empowering the youth and making them sensitive and committed to working for the country’s future.
He said the song has not only ignited patriotic feelings amongst people but also has been inspiring the citizens to work to undertake nation building for the past 150 years.
She said that the spirit of putting the “Nation First” would ensure that India becomes a developed nation by 2047, on the centenary of India’s independence.
Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar, Kharga Corps Commander, delivered a thought-provoking lecture on “The Role of Armed Forces in Nation Building: Operation Sindoor” at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak.
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) are helpful in nation building and must be promoted.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday appreciated the efforts of the people from Goa living in the national capital and said that through their hard work and dedication, they contribute significantly not only to the progress of their own state but also to that of the entire nation.
''They protect us from diseases, dirt, and health risks. They are playing a very important role in nation-building. The biggest credit for our achievements in the field of cleanliness at the local, state, and the national level goes to our Safai Mitras,'' she said addressing the ''Safai Mitra Sammelan'' in Ujjain.
