The Delhi Police on Wednesday arrested a third shooter in connection with the November 4 shooting outside two shops at Nangloi and Alipur area of outer Delhi after a brief exchange of fire.
Two shooting incidents shook the capital city on Monday where several rounds were fired outside a property dealer shop in Outer North Delhi’s Alipur and West Delhi’s Nangloi area. However, no casualties were reported in both the incidents.
The Delhi Government has sanctioned Rs 183 crores to overhaul the New Rohtak Road with an aim to eliminate the problem of water logging and traffic congestion, which will bring relief to lakhs of commuters and residents of areas starting Nangloi, Mundka, Ghevra and upto Tikri around the Delhi-Haryana Border.
One person was arrested in a road rage incident in Outer Delhi’s Nangloi in which a police constable was dragged by a speeding car while he was on patrolling duty on his bike, the police said.
A DFS official said that 25 fire tenders were sent to the spot and the fire fighters managed to douse to the flames till 9 a.m., but the operation was still on.
