Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav on Thursday transferred Rs 1551.89 crore to the accounts of 1.27 crore beneficiary women, as the 24th installment under the 'Laadli Behna Yojana'.
State government officials informed on Friday that so far 17 installments of monthly financial assistance amount have been transferred to the beneficiary women from June 2023 to October 2024.
After officially launching the scheme with the click of a button at around 7.05 pm, Chief Minister Chouhan showered petals and flowers on the women present at the venue amidst peppy music reverberating at the function site.
Kamal Nath said the 'Naari Sammaan Yojana' is being launched, as there is immense inflation in the prices of essential commodities in Madhya Pradesh.
Chouhan said the works of registration, e-KYC and list preparation should be done honestly by filling the application in the scheme.
