Kamal Nath said that he will not contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections form Jabalpur.
There were rumours that Kamal Nath will quit the Congress and join the BJP along with his son Nakul Nath.
Asked if he is joining the saffron party, Kamal Nath, on Saturday, told mediapersons: “Why are you all getting excited? If there is any such thing, you will be the first to be informed about it.”
The MP unit of the Congress said here on its official X handle that the reports about Kamal Nath's resignation were false and baseless.
