Chairing the high-level review meeting, he said, “For India to become the global leader in drugs regulation to match our global reputation of ‘Pharmacy of the World’, we need to have a world class regulatory framework matching our scale of operations and international expectations.”
He stressed the importance of addressing emerging food safety trends, promoting sustainable farming practices, and leveraging technology to enhance food safety management.
It will be first meeting of the party after the Lok Sabha polls, where around 3000 BJP leaders including all Union and state ministers, MPs, Legislators, Lok Sabha candidates and leaders up to block level have been invited for a day long discussions.
