The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) on Saturday directed the officials of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to look into the matter after an operating flight 6E-2131 (Delhi-Bangalore) experienced a technical issue while on the take-off roll.
The plane was getting prepared to take off for Patna when the car belonging to Go First Airline went under it. The driver supposedly fell asleep.
"While passing 5000ft, the crew noticed smoke in the cabin after which the pilots decided to return to Delhi," the official said.
In an operation code-named “BLACK & WHITE”, the DRI seized 55 Kg of Heroin from an imported cargo consignment, which was declared to contain “Trolley Bags”.
During interrogation, accused persons disclosed that their documents were procured by one agent namely Sandeep Kumar and it was disclosed that to facilitate their journey, the agent collected a certain amount from each person, a part of the amount was paid in cash and the remaining amount was transferred to his account.
A senior Customs official said that the duo arrived at IGI T3 from Dubai on Sunday.
The official said that they thoroughly checked the luggage and recovered a white powder material. She had concealed it in the false bottom cavity of her trolley suitcase.
Officials from the IGI Airport, (DIAL) Airports Authority of India, (AAI), Immigration and COVID-19 testing lab company took part in the meeting, said MoCA officials.
The victim, who was identified as Sandeep Bhati, was in his Hyundai Verna along with three friends when the incident took place around 5 a.m., according to the police. He is learnt to be critical and undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Noida.
