Kapoor said that Singh should remember that just like many other promotional campaigns, the people of Delhi have not forgotten the alleged loot and propaganda carried out under the name of the Tiranga campaign by the previous Kejriwal government.
As part of the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign under the aegis of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway conducted an awareness drive to promote the spirit of patriotism and respect for the National Flag.
The Har Ghar Tiranga kiosk was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Srinivas Katikithala, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, in the presence of Sanjay Kulshrestha, CMD HUDCO, officials of HUDCO, MOHUA and various offices located in the India Habitat Centre.
As India marks 78 years of Independence, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign from his official residence, calling for every home to proudly hoist the tricolor as a symbol of national pride and respect for soldiers.
Talking about the campaign, Gupta said that the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ has deeply instilled patriotism in the hearts of every citizen and child. “Thousands of programmes, including Tiranga Yatras and soldier participation, are uniting citizens across the country,” she added.
Taking to platform X, he urged citizens to participate in the "Har Ghar Tiranga" movement by flying the tricolour at their homes from August 9 to 15.
In his post on X, the Union Home Minister said, "Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s #HarGharTiranga campaign the entire country is becoming tricolor."
This year, over 6,500 women-led SHGs in UP are working in mission mode to produce 2 crore tricolors. Notably, the Yogi government has set an ambitious target of 4.50 crore national flags under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign for 2024, officials here on Tuesday said.

Union Minister of Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat announced on Thursday that the third edition of the "Har Ghar Tiranga" (HGT) campaign would be celebrated from 9 to 15 August as part of the Independence Day celebrations.
