He allegedly carried out a recce of the hospital before the shootout in which a patient, instead of the target, was killed.
Following the incident, police registered a case on July 14 based on the statement of one Tarranum Malik.
Delhi Health Minister said such negligence at the hospital won’t be tolerated, and a security review of all the hospitals will be done.
The incident took place near the Voters Centre at on Monday, at around 2:30 pm. Police had received a PCR call regarding a quarrel between school students.
The deceased youngsters have been identified as Vansh Sharma, 23, a 3rd year BTech student, and Monu, 20, a salesman.
All these policemen are accused of kidnapping a sales tax agent, robbing him, and extorting money from him through online payment mode.
