West Bengal Panchayat, Rural Development and Animal Resources Development Minister Dilip Ghosh on Saturday launched a sharp attack on the previous Trinamul Congress (TMC) administration, alleging that “threat culture”, corruption and administrative irregularities had crippled governance in the state for years.
According to Ghosh, the previous administration failed to adequately respond to public grievances and neglected issues affecting ordinary people across the state.
Amid the ongoing demolition operations, Dilip Ghosh issued a strong warning against illegal occupation of public land, asserting that bulldozers would be used wherever unlawful structures are found.
The FIR was registered on May 15 at the Bidhannagar North Cyber Crime Police Station against Abhishek Banerjee over alleged provocative and threatening remarks delivered during election rallies across West Bengal.
