The inauguration of the state of the art multi-level car parking facility is seen as a major boost to Delhi’s urban infrastructure and traffic decongestion efforts.
Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has written to Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman regarding a proposal where vehicles with a history of violations, including speeding, reckless driving, or other traffic offences, would be required to pay higher insurance premiums.
AAP accused the LG and his secretariat of comparing themselves with the elected government and the chief minister of Delhi.
These employees are engaged on a contract basis in various Hospitals, Medical Institutions and DHS (including CDMOs) in Delhi.
He alleged that the LG Office is making false excuses for not being able to hold National Capital Civil Service Authority (NCCSA) meetings due to the non-availability of the chief minister.
Chairing a meeting, the LG reviewed the action taken on decisions taken during previous meetings held in this regard.
The Delhi chief minister is currently under detention in the Tihar Jail in connection with alleged corruption related to the (now scrapped) Delhi excise policy.
The Delhi Cabinet Minister claimed that an official, who was previously arrested for bribery, was appointed as the administrator of the said place.
"My deepest condolences to the families of those who have lost their lives," the Lieutenant Governor said.
Delhi BJP Media Head Praveen Shankar Kapoor, wrote to Saxena on Thursday demanding the appointment of a Scheduled Caste mayor in the Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD) and ensure the formation of the Sixth Delhi Finance Commission.
