The police have arrested the accused and booked him under relevant sections of the POCSO Act.
The matter came to light after the child developed fever and was having severe pain in her private parts.
According to reports, the girl had gone missing on Friday afternoon and her body was found in a sugarcane field of one of the accused on Saturday. While, the incident reportedly took place in a village close to the Nepal border, which is near the state capital Lucknow.
The minor girl was abducted on August 6 by Dalpat when she was playing outside her house in Hapur's Garh area. She was raped and left to die in a nearby forest, from where a search and rescue team found her almost 12 hours later.
The survivor was kidnapped and brutally raped last Thursday and is presently admitted in the Meerut Medical College where her condition remains critical.
The police have released sketches of the three accused on the basis of the statements of the girl's parents and neighbours.
The incident took place at a village in Jabera tehsil on Wednesday evening when the accused lured the minor, who was playing outside her house, with a toffee, an official said. The accused then raped the victim in an abandoned house and tried to gouge her eyes out to prevent her from identifying him. The severely wounded child was found on Thursday morning.
The 60-year-old man allegedly took the girl to his house. While the accused was undressing her, another man noticed this and alerted the girl's parents, a senior police official said.
The boy was playing outside his house on Saturday when the incident took place, the police said.
