Addressing a well-attended public gathering at the ‘Gram Utthan Shivir’ rural development camp in Ladnun town of Deedwana–Kuchaman district, the Chief Minister said his government had remained steadfast in its commitment to act decisively against those responsible for destroying the future of young aspirants.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister also extended his best wishes to Nemcha Kipgen and Losii Dikho on being sworn in as Deputy Chief Ministers of Manipur. He congratulated Konthoujam Govindas Singh and Khuraijam Loken Singh as well on assuming office as Ministers in the newly formed state government.
Incumbent Chief Minister Nitish Kumar remains the frontrunner, although some voices are calling for a change.

Union Minister Shripad Naik lauded the divinity and grandeur of Mahakumbh 2025, calling it a historic event that exemplifies seamless organisation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

"If one state police take strict action against drug peddlers and those involved in illegal drug trafficking, then these drug dealers and peddlers shift to neighbouring states. The network of drug dealers is spread all over the country. This problem can be curbed if the law enforcement agencies of different states work untidily with mutual coordination,” the chief minister said.
The policy is a step forward for making land bank available for major urbanisation and industrialisation purposes. As the land owners will be partners in the development process, the policy aims at offering maximum benefit to them by linking the allotment of land with the cost of raw land.
"Under Mukhya Mantri Shagun Yojna, 6,626 beneficiaries have been benefited so far by spending over Rs. 17 crores. For the current financial year a budgetary provision of Rs 27.30 crore has also been made," he informed.
He requested for a special assistance grant of Rs 1,000 crore during the current financial year for strengthening air connectivity in the state.
