This progress is reflected in the recent approval of 22 projects under the third phase of the Central Government’s Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS), which includes four proposals from the state of Uttar Pradesh.

The meeting, held at the Chief Minister’s residential office here, was attended by senior officials of the state government, the Union coal ministry and subsidiaries of Coal India Limited.
In a post on X, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, “Given the flood situation in Tripura, the Central government, under the leadership of (Narendra) Modi Ji, has approved the release of Rs 40 crore in advance, as the Central share from SDRF, to provide relief to the affected people.”
