The Election Commission Monday announced by-elections to seven vacant Assembly seats in six states to be held in November.
The other constituencies where assembly bypolls were held were Rajinder Nagar in Delhi, Mandar in Jharkhand's Ranchi district and Atmakuru in Andhra Pradesh.
The Rajinder Nagar assembly constituency in the national capital today recorded a voter turnout of 43.75 per cent till 1800 hrs in the bypoll, officials said.
Polling has begun in Rampur and Azamgarh Lok Sabha constituencies in Uttar Pradesh, where by-elections are being held on these two constituencies.
