This comes days after Punjab Police dismantled an inter-state cheating racket operating during the pharmacy officer recruitment examination.
Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal today said Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann wanted to divert attention from his sacrilegious conduct against the Guru Sahiban and Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindrawala by summoning him for questioning in an eleven-year-old firing case in Behbal Kalan which was still under investigation after all these years.

The chief minister asserted that the AAP-led government in Punjab had never cited an empty treasury as an excuse for avoiding welfare measures.
His (Mann’s) government is being run by the AAP leaders who have been "rejected" by the people of the national capital.
Mann noted that Punjab, a landlocked border state, has already overexploited its only natural resources—water and fertile soil—to feed the nation.
He was addressing a gathering after handing over appointment letters to 450 youth.
CM Mann claimed that Haryana has already been allotted its share of water for one year.
Mann asked the Congress leader to substantiate his claim or face action for creating panic amongst people.
