This comes days after Punjab Police dismantled an inter-state cheating racket operating during the pharmacy officer recruitment examination.
Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal today said Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann wanted to divert attention from his sacrilegious conduct against the Guru Sahiban and Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindrawala by summoning him for questioning in an eleven-year-old firing case in Behbal Kalan which was still under investigation after all these years.

The chief minister asserted that the AAP-led government in Punjab had never cited an empty treasury as an excuse for avoiding welfare measures.
Chairing a virtual meeting with CPs and SSPs, the Chief Minister emphasised the need for their close coordination with civil administration counterparts to ensure the timely rehabilitation of flood victims.
Informing about the relief measures being carried out in the state, CM Mann said that the cleanup work has begun in the flood-affected villages.
A total of 22,938 people evacuated from the worst-affected areas so far.
Launched as a pilot project in the year 2022 in Madurai, the Breakfast Scheme has steadily grown to provide nutritious breakfast every morning for a total of 20.59 lakh students across the state.
Interacting with the media after the inauguration, Chief Minister Mann said that the latest technology has been used in the construction of the plant, and similar projects will soon be replicated across other parts of the state.
