The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi on Friday categorically said it allows only one attendant with one patient as a policy.
The premier institute stated that the initiative results from increased emphasis on security and adherence to visiting hours, especially in critical areas like the Operating Theatre and the ICU.
Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Prataprao Ganpatrao Jadhav graced the occasion.
The AIIMS da Vinci RAS training centre will focus on equipping surgeons and care teams with the skills and technology training necessary to perform robotic-assisted surgery across specialities including urology, gynaecology, general surgery and more, the premier institute said.
