Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo reached yet another milestone in his already illustrious career. However, this time it was for his off-field antics. Ronaldo has beaten his rival Lionel Messi to emerge on top of the sporting rich list on Instagram.
Interestingly, Indian Cricket captain Virat Kohli has also found his name in the top 10. Hopper HQ, an Instagram scheduling tool, has revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo charges as much as £784,000 for one Instagram post.
Interestingly, Brazilian footballer Neymar Jr is number two on the list. Neymar has come ahead of the likes of Messi and David Beckham. Neymar charges £580,000 for his Instagram posts while Messi, who is number three, charges as much as £521,000.

After the top three players, David Beckham, Ronaldinho, Gareth Bale and Zlatan Ibrahimovic feature in the top 10 before the Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli who is placed ninth in the list. Virat charges £158,000 for an Instagram post- a massive amount for an Indian athlete.
Interestingly, Kohli charges more fees than reputed International athletes like Luis Suarez and Conor McGregor.
Lebron James is the only basketball player to feature in the top 10 and Kohli the lone cricketer. The rest others are all football players.
