Police demolish houses of two terrorists; detain around 2,500 OGWs across Kashmir

A day after a policeman was shot dead by terrorists in Anantnag, security forces demolished the houses of two active Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists and launched a massive crackdown across Kashmir, detaining hundreds of suspected overground workers (OGWs), even as Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and PDP president Mehbooba Mufti questioned the legality and effectiveness of the measures.

Police here said that the hotels received a threatening email at 10 am today. It said: "There is a bomb in a black bag in the grounds of your hotel.
