Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has paid homage to the soldiers who were killed in an accident in Sikkim recently.

Yogi Adityanath condoled the death of Army jawan Lokesh Kumar,(Muzaffarnagar), Shyam Singh Yadav (Unnao), Bhupendra Singh, (Etah)and Charan Singh (Lalitpur ).

On Saturday, the chief minister announced a financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh each to the families of the killed soldiers of the state.

He has also announced to give a government job to one member of the family of these army personnel and to name a road in their respective districts after Lokesh Kumar, Shyam Singh Yadav, Bhupendra Singh and Charan Singh.

Expressing his condolences to the families of the soldiers, Yogi said that the last rites of the deceased would be performed with state honours. Ministers of the state government will participate in the last rites of the soldiers and pay homage.
