Nadda directs states to boost response measures against dengue, malaria

As the South West Monsoon advances deeper into the Indian subcontinent, Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda, on Thursday, directed states and Union Territories to strengthen surveillance, vector-control measures and healthcare preparedness to tackle a possible rise in dengue and malaria cases, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The BJP leader also claimed that Mayor Oberoi wishes to travel abroad and therefore she has not allowed the Corporation to proceed with the polls.

Families of fallen soldiers honoured on Shaurya Diwas

In observance of ‘Shaurya Diwas’, the Infantry Directorate hosted a two-day ‘Veer Nari Samman Samaroh, here. The event honoured four Veer Matas and 21 Veer Naris representing 25 brave soldiers from 13 Infantry Regiments who made the ultimate sacrifice in the past year.
