Megastar Rajinikanth, who will be next seen in Kaala, has left for the Himalayas on Saturday afternoon.

The actor-turned-politician has some kind of connection with the Himalayas, where he feels that he is at peace, both, mentally and physically.

Thailava, fondly called as by his fans and close ones, has been taking the Himalayas trip for more than a decade now and the actor visits the mountains before the release of his new film.

But seems like Rajinikanth has made an exception this time by visiting his favourite place a little early before the release of his films.

According to a report in ETimes, Rajinikanth visits Dunagiri area near the Himalayan caves, where he meditates Mahavatar Babaji, an ancient yogi, who is said to have an eternal body.

The actor visits the place very often keeping his stardom aside to spend some time with the saints there and enjoy a moment of serendipity.

On the work front, Rajinikanth has two films lined up to release this year– Kaala, which releases worldwide on April 27 and 2.0 alongside Akshay Kumar, which is scheduled to hit the big screens on the Diwali weekend.
