The three-minute trailer showcases Varun Dhawan in a never-seen-before avatar where he plays the role of a happy aimless menial worker, who after getting inspired by his wife, which is played by Anushka Sharma, starts his own business. The trailer showcases their quest from being unemployed to replacing the “Made in China” tags on clothes to “Made in India”.

Based in a small town, the rural setting resonates with Dum Laga Ke Haisha.
Starring Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma, “Sui-Dhaaga-Made in India” is a heartwarming story of pride and self-reliance, which finds its roots in the heart of India and reflects the passion that runs through the veins of every single Indian.
The film is directed by Sharat Katariya, who had last worked on Dum Laga Ke Haisha, starring Ayushmann Khuranna and Bhumi Pednekar.
Produced by Maneesh Sharma under the banner of Yash Raj Films, “Sui-Dhaaga-Made in India” will be released on 28 September 2018.
