Prabhas’ upcoming sci-fi thriller film, Saaho, is leaving no stone unturned to live up to the hype among fans as the makers are spending liberally to nail the perfect scene.
There are reports that an action sequence of the film will cost the makers around Rs 90 crore. Under the guidance of action director Kenny Bates, who has to his credit Fast and Furious, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and Transformers, the Rs 90-crore action sequence will be shot in UAE.
The shoot has been on for the last couple of weeks and will continue in other parts of UAE, including Abu Dhabi over the next 40 days.
Confirming the shooting schedule in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Prabhas said, “We are all excited for shooting in Abu Dhabi – friends in the industry have told me that it’s an incredible filming destination boasting awe-inspiring landscapes, and it is certainly living up to that reputation. I’ve been impressed at the level of support we’ve received from twofour54, the local crews, the fans, and the government, who are all going out of their way to make things as smooth as possible.”
According to a report in HT, Saaho is not only one of the most expensive Indian films, but it also has the second longest shooting schedule in the UAE. Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai was shot for more duration in Abu Dhabi.
Well, Saaho is raising eyebrows with each passing day and it will be interesting to see how the Rs 90-crore scene will be helmed when the film is out.
Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho, also fearturing Shraddha Kapoor and Neil Nitin Mukesh in pivotal roles, is expected to release in early 2019.
