In order to celebrate the 70-year-old Indo-Thai diplomatic relations, a film festival is being organized to celebrate the cultural and cinematic heritage of both the countries. The Royal Thai Embassy is organizing the annual Namaste Thailand Film Festival at PVR Select Citywalk, New Delhi.
The event aims to bridge the gap between Thai and Indian audiences by bringing a taste of Thai films to the Indian audience.
The festival consists of six movies which display the culture and tradition of Thailand in various ways.
The festival is being inaugurated today at 7 pm by the Ambassador of Thailand H.E Chutintorn Gongsakdi.
All screenings are free. Registration starts one hour prior to each screening and is on first-come-first-serve basis. One person can register for one pass for each film.
