Big B is shrouded in mystery in new ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ poster
A new poster from the upcoming sci-fi film 'Kalki 2898 AD' was unveiled on Saturday. The poster features veteran Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan in a new avatar.
The hit pair from Pink — Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu — will share the screen space once again in a forthcoming crime thriller, Badla. The makers of the film recently unveiled the first trailer and the story seems to be a gripping one.
Promoted as a revenge story, Sujoy Ghosh directorial Badla will once again feature Amitabh Bachchan as a lawyer. Big B’s character Badal Gupta has to this time save his client Naina, who has been accused of murder. As per the trailer, all the clues hint towards Naina, played by Taapsee Pannu, but she vehemently denies having committed the crime.

The film will mark the third collaboration of Sujoy Ghosh and Amitabh Bachchan after their previous projects, Teen and Aladdin.
Earlier, speaking about working with Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee told PTI, “I am very excited about this film. People wait to work with him and I got to work with him twice in two years. It gives me lot of excitement and I hope the magic gets repeated. When people say, Bachchan sir and I are a hit pair, it excites me.”
According to reports, Badla is the remake of 2016 Spanish film Contratiempo (The Invisible Guest). The film will star Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, and Malayalam actor Tony Luke in pivotal roles.
Produced by Gauri Khan under the banners of Red Chillies Entertainment and Azure Entertainment, Badla is slated to release on 8 March 2019.
