The Aam Aadmi Party won 134 of the 250 wards while the BJP, which had been ruling the civic body since 2007, bagged 104 seats. The Congress finished a poor third with nine seats while Independents bagged three wards.
''Obstruction and disruption of proceedings as parliamentary practice or option are antithetical to democratic values,” said Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankharm, who assumed the charge of Rajya Sabha chairman on Wednesday.
Kejriwal was addressing the party workers and candidates after registering a win in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi polls as AAP won 134 seats out of 250 wards in the polls, and the BJP won 104 wards.
