When former minister Sanjeev Baliyan tried to pacify them they hooted shouting ‘go back’.

Finding a determined crowd of lawyers the rally organisers than arranged for a meeting with the chief ministers. A delegation of 20 lawyers and representatives of social organisations called on the chief minister putting forward their demand of a high court bench in west.

Sanjay Sharma, ex-convenor of High Court Bench Sangharsh Samiti, said that CM was convinced and called their demand genuine but said that only High Court and Supreme Court can take decision on it.

Committee’s chairman Rajendra Singh Jani. however, suggested the chief minister that a resolution can be passed in the assembly for setting up the bench in western Uttar Pradesh instead of going to Supreme court and high court but the chief minister refused to it.

Sharma commented that chief ministers had no knowledge of law and claimed that attorney general’s comment in support of the bench was already attached in the file. He said that their movement for the bench would continue.
