Ex-MLA and chairman of the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) Communications Department Anil Bhardwaj has accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for dodging the charges levelled against him by the jailed conman Sukesh Chandra Shekhar.

He said Kejriwal was trying to duck the charge levelled against him by jailed conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar that he had paid Rs 50 crore to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Rs 10 crore as ‘protection money’ to the jailed Minister of the Kejriwal Government, Satyender Jain (who also held the jail portfolio).

Bhardwaj said that Kejriwal sidetracked Sukesh’s allegations and his demand that Kejriwal should undergo a lie-detector test to prove his innocence.

Questioning the Delhi CM over the issue, Congress ex-MLA said that Kejriwal, who has promised to end corruption in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) in his “10 guarantees”, should answer whether he took Rs. 50 Crore from Chandrashekhar and why is he not undergoing lie-detector test, if he is honest?

Anil Bhardwaj welcomed senior AAP leader Dr. KB Singh and his wife Anuneet Kaur to the Congress party during the event at the DPCC office. Welcoming the new member, he said that honest people were getting suffocated in AAP, as Kejriwal’s only agenda is to foster corruption, and make money through illegal deals by using all his Ministers and MLAs as his proxies.

Adding to it, he further said that senior leaders are leaving BJP and AAP to join the Congress as they were motivated by the country-wide adulation Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra is receiving.

Others present at the occasion were AICC secretary C.P Mittal, Chairman of the Legal and Human Rights Department of the DPCC Sunil Kumar and Vice-chairman of the DPCC Communications Department Anuj Attrey.

Addressing the people, ex-AAP leaders Dr. KB Singh and his wife Anuneet Kaur said that AAP has become a directionless party without doing any purposeful work for the people. People do not want mere “jumlewadi”, but benefits of good governance.

They said that “Rahul Gandhi is a Man with a Mission”, totally focused, and they were impressed with his selfless mission to join the Congress. They said that they are also impressed by the dynamic stewardship of DPCC by Chaudhary Anil Kumar.
