SBI clerk 2018: Notification for 9366 vacancies released; here are details

The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced a total of 9366 vacancies for the post of clerks.

The bank’s Central Recruitment & Promotion Department issued a notification inviting applications for the position of Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales) to fill both the regular and backlog vacancies.

Graduates in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government as on 1 January 2018 can apply.

The online registration of application and payment of fees of SBI clerk recruitment will begin from 20 January 2018 and will be concluded by 10 February 2018.

The SBI clerk preliminary examination will be conducted tentatively in the month of March/April 2018. The main examination will be conducted tentatively on 12 May 2018.

SBI clerk recruitment application start and end dates: 20 January 2018 – 10 February 2018

Tentative date for issuance of call letter for preliminary exams: 1 March 2018

Tentative date for SBI clerk recruitment prelims: March/April 2018

Tentative date for issuance of call letter for main exams: 26 April 2018

Tentative date for SBI clerk recruitment main exam: 12 May 2018

Candidates can apply for vacancies in one state only. The candidate must be proficient in the local language of the state from where he/she applies.
