Legendary actress Suchitra Sen’s medical condition is stable, as she has partially responded to intermittent non invasive ventilation.
Her oxygen saturation level has improved compared to the previous days and her oxygen saturation is being continuously monitored by the team of doctors. Her heart rate and blood pressure continue to remain stable.
She took breakfast today but she is a little weak.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Miss Mamata Banerjee today visited Bell Vue Nursing Home to enquire about her health. Miss Banerjee was there for 25 minutes. Later, she said on Facebook that day before yesterday I went to the Nursing Home to know how Suchitra Sen was keeping as she had been critical. I met Moonmoon Sen and Dr Subrata Moitra and his medical team. Later when she was stable and came to know of my visit, she wanted to meet me. Dr Moitra communicated her desire and accordingly I rushed to the hospital and met her for about 25 minutes today. I also met Moonmoon Sen, Raima Sen.
She added that “I am undoubtedly fortunate enough to get an opportunity to meet her in person. It is an emotional moment. She is improving gradually. Let us all pray to God for her recovery and good health” she further said on Facebook.
