Haryana Police has claimed to have cracked the double murder case after arresting 11 members of Bawaria gang from various parts of the country on Sunday.

An official spokesperson of police department said the gang members were arrested by Kurukshetra Police from different states, including three women allegedly involved in killing of two persons near Pindarsi Railway Line in district Kurukshetra on 22 May.

A case was registered in Government Railway Police station in this connection. Later it was handed over to Kurukshetra Police, added the spokesperson.

Dozens of sheep belonging to the deceased were run over by a train on the same day.

According to CCTV footage, 17 people including five women were involved in the crime. Out of which eight male and three females have already been nabbed.

The arrested members are being interrogated for more information about their gang and efforts were on to arrest six more members, added the spokesperson.
