A 46-year-old man including his two accomplices was been arrested for allegedly killing his younger brother from Rajori Garden area of west Delhi. The accused Rajesh Lamba, elder brother of the deceased Jitender Lamba, and two other Ravinder Rathi, Mukesh Soni have been identified.
On 30 September this year a man had been shot at Tilak Nagar police station. The injured was identified as Jitender Lamba, a resident of Rajouri Garden, and he received multiple gun shots injuries. After a prolong struggling in the hospital, he was succumbed to injuries last month.
Police said during the investigation it was revealed that two motorcycle borne youth arrived and the pillion rider fired multiple gun shots at Jitender Lamba. But during the investigation it was revealed that both the brothers were not having cordial relations. A number of properties inherited from their father were also not divided between the two. Early this month police had apprehended Mukesh Soni. During the interrogation he confessed his involvement in the crime. He revealed that Ravinder Rathi planned and executed the murderous assault on Jitender Lamba.
On the basis of disclosure of Mukesh Soni, Ravinder Rathi was apprehended from his rented accommodation in Laxmi Park. He broke down and revealed that one Rajesh Lamba gave him the contract to kill Jitender Lamba for a hefty consideration of Rs 10 lakh in July 2013. He disclosed that he along with one Rishu was on motorcycle on the incident day, and they opened fired on Jitender Lamba.
