Rajiv, along with his brother Raghu Ram, has been campaigning for AAP for the Delhi assembly election. He was caught on video using abusive language against the minister on AAP’s foreign funding.
As soon as the party realised the mistake it tendered an apology. "The party is against the use of any foul language by its members or supporters. We stand for honest and clean politics and will continue to do so. We will also ensure that such mistakes are not repeated," AAP said, in a statement.
The party, in a statement, also said: "Rajeev has already realised his mistake and apologised for his remarks. He has also clarified that AAP has nothing to do with his remarks and it was his mistake."
