The Delhi Police have arrested three persons including two Nigerian nationals for allegedly carrying fine quality of cocaine worth Rs 1 crore in the Capital.
Police said that they received a complaint from Vashist Kumar who has a courier agency at Rajendra Place, that a lady, identified herself as Pooja Ray, resident of Mahavir Nagar, visited his office several occasions and sent couriers to countries such as Holland, Australia and Liberia.
 The complainant said that the delivery of the last parcel containing fancy laces, golden threads and spiral bands given by her for dispatch on 12 July was delayed due to some documentation issues. At this, the lady made repeated telephonic enquiries and showed anxiety over the delay in delivery of the parcel which made him suspicious about her credentials. At this, he reported the matter to the Special Staff of New Delhi District. Accordingly, a preliminary forensic check of the substance concealed in the consignment of fancy laces was made with the help of NDPS Kit and upon positive confirmation of presence of a controlled drug.
 According to the deputy commissioner of police (New Delhi), Mr SBS Tyagi, the accused have been identified as Tsering Choezom (30), resident of Himachal Pradesh who posed herself as Pooja Ray, Isika Collins (27) and Omenoys Favor (27), residents of Nigeria. 0.940 Kilograms of Cocaine Methaqualone (commonly used in rave parties) worth Rs 1 crore also recovered.
  Police said that investigations revealed that all the addresses of the alleged persons were fake and there was no clue of the lady who deposited the parcels. Later, the suspect was identified and her address was pin-pointed at Old Mahavir Nagar, Tilak Nagar, Delhi. A trap was laid and three persons were were arrested.
 The accused revealed that they were smuggling narcotic substances through parcels to various countries through FedEx and other international courier companies.
 The accused, Tsering Choezom (Pooja Ray), is a Tibetan National whose family migrated to Himachal Pradesh in 1970s. She started working at Beauty Parlours at Majnu Ka Tila and Saket, where she came in contact with Nigerians and got involved in crime.
