Afghanistan receives over 8,000 foreign tourists in two years
More than 8,000 foreign tourists visited Afghanistan over the past two years, local media TOLOnews reported Saturday, citing a government official.
The Indian ambassador’s residence in Kabul was reportedly attacked with a rocket-launched grenade on Tuesday.
The grenade had exploded in the tennis court of the Indian ambassador’s residence in the Afghanistan capital. No one has been injured in the incident.
Security sources said the sound of an explosion was heard from the vicinity of Shash Darak area of the city. The rocket was fired from an unidentified location.

The attack comes the day the Kabul Peace Process Conference began. The conference, inaugurated by President Ashraf Ghani, is being attended by the leaders of 27 nations and representatives of international organisations.
According to reports, last week, at least 80 people were killed and over 350 wounded in a suicide car bombing outside the Indian embassy.
