The Lt Governor bowed in reverence to the extraordinary bravery, unwavering faith, and martyrdom of the Sahibzadas, the revered sons of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Mata Gujri Ji, whose sacrifices remain an eternal testament to courage, devotion to dharma, and righteousness.
Welcoming the gathering, especially the children, the Prime Minister remarked, “Today, the country is celebrating Veer Baal Diwas,” and lauded the heartfelt presentation of Vande Mataram, reflecting the performers’ dedication.
She expressed confidence that these awards will inspire all children across the country.
The Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, will observe Veer Bal Diwas at the national level on December 26 to commemorate the courage, sacrifice, and exemplary values of India's young heroes.
